  1. Teachers are one of the most underappreciated groups in society. I tried being a teacher, and quit because I couldn’t handle it. Anyone who can managing teaching has my respect.

  2. Private schools in China are paying £40k entry level for British teachers. It’s obscene how low salaries are in Britain.

  3. My wife is a teacher. They’re way too soft and put up with unbelievable levels of pressure to work for free. It’s not the odd hour here and there it’s a couple of hours in school and a few hours out of school every day.

    Theyre committed to a fault and nothing will improve until they stop the “but I have to do it, it’s the kids who suffer” brainwashing that they undergo. It’s a really toxic work environment under the Tories.
