Paid 8.50 for this today which I thought was steep. Before the crowd come in saying “you should’ve checked the price beforehand”, I did, I thought I’d get 2 slices which would’ve been fair enough. Prices are gone nuts.
But it comes in a chic “food truck” brown box.
If I know anything about brown box chic food, it adds €4 worth of flavour to everything.

Aww man I feel so bad for you!! I got a gorgeous salmon sandwich today for 10.50 it was massive & came with a side salad! Dressed with avocado, onion & capers!! It was the dream!!!! 10/10 will get again!!
You could make that yourself for €3/4
Only way the message will get through to vendors is dont buy it at that price. If people pay 8.50 they will sell it for as much as possible. No point paying and then giving out. Dont buy and they will get the message. Bit of a scam saying sandwich when its not even a sandwich.
If it was listed as a sandwich and arrived as one piece of bread for €8.50 I’d be pretty annoyed. A sandwich is 2 slices of bread with a filling between them imo.

Just paid 11 fucking euro for a breakfast roll on the wb Yeats ferry. It had one fucking sausage, one fucking egg and one fucking rasher. Grrr
It’s annoying for that price more because there’s clearly no love or care gone into it. Some pickled red onion, capers, a wedge of lemon on the side, maybe a small side salad and another slice of bread and I would have said it’s a totally fair price if it’s decent smoked salmon
What size is that bit of bread? I’d be more annoyed at the lack of salad and dressings. Not even salt or pepper on it. It’s like something I’d make from the fridge for a snack. In fact, I’d make better myself.
Ask for refund.

I bought a bland salmon bagel at Seven Wonders for €7.95. They increased their price from €5.95 to €7.95 overnight and the bagel is basic (bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon). I might as well make it myself at home. Never going there again. €5.95 makes sense, but €7.95 absolutely not.

Inflation, insurance, health and safety compliance. There’s a whole lot of bullshit you’ve to go through in this country to make someone a sandwich
