I think that Confederacy flag is viewed in Poland just as a “cool flag”, because it is easily linked by people with USA and it’s design is original. History behind it is probably unknown for many people. Especially in such a touristic places as Niechorze 🙂 Moreover, probably somebody want to lure some foreign tourists showing them “their” flags (I wouldn’t however expect too many Americans, and among them – confy southerners, in Niechorze).
