  1. Only if you believe chinas official fertility statistic. Their number is probably quite a bit lower and then the others slightly bigger

  2. Fun fact: There are now born more babies annually in Nigeria than in all of the European countries combined.

  3. As long as countries Like India, Pakistan or DR Congo have backward leaders and unstable governments these are great news for Europe.

More cheap workforce and more contributors to our social systems… + we can cherrypick the most talented individuals as US is slowly closing their gates.

  4. This will probably be how Europe will fade into irrelevance in the future, simply due to demographics, as the new generations on our continent constantly get smaller while they increase everywhere else. Most notably in Africa and the Middle East/South Asia/South East Asia. Quantity has a quality of its own. It’s still weird to think that only 70 years ago, many of the most populated countries in the top 10 were European, ie. Russia, Germany, France, the UK.

However, I don’t necessarily believe this is such a bad thing.

  5. I think we need to get more immigration to Europe to off set the the looming demographic crisis, especially in Germany and Italy. We are just too far below replacement level to keep the economy going and keep the senile part of the society well provided for
