Edit: Just googled him, born London, grew up New York, moved to Ireland aged 14
A nice peek of what we will have to do when our Chinese overlords take their place as world leaders
If I’m not mistaken that’s Des Bishop.
I have huge administration for des. He’s a huge talent.
Oddly full circle moment when he was doing the minimum wage programme working in Abra in Waterford and chucking out drunks for being racist against the Chinese staff.
The Chinese, an awful bunch of lads!
RTÉ has nothing on this
Is the immersion joke still part of his set?
G’wan Des
“An Irish man”……….Des fucking Bishop.
Just short of pigs in the kitchen
Was in China a couple years ago. Would highly recommend it, probably my favourite country but fuck the tickets were expensive

I had a feeling if was blackened tans before he started
Fanfuckintastic 😂👌🏻
Des Bishop doing the lord’s work!
Probably about 10 years ago he did this stint in China. Show came out in 2013/2014 direction. Fair play to him
I rewatched that series just last month. Perhaps not *always* politically correct, but very realistic and entertaining. Des Bishop is definitely an interesting character.
Jesus Christ, today I learned Des Bishop can speak mandarin.
Fair fucks to him 👌
Songs of freedom and rebellion against oppression in a country known for oppression and suppression of freedom. Now if that ain’t ironic than idk what is
Bit ironic with whats happening in Taiwan no?
Both countries are still waking up from the nightmare that was British Colonialism. The Chinese understand our desire for self determination and freedom from external Imperial rule.
I’m not from Ireland but I listen to Irish rebel songs quite often, it’s beautiful like nothing else they make today
Greatest place on earth, Ireland. It tears my heart apart when I see people in the comment section whining about their life in Ireland and how bad the country is. How difficult and unbearable it is.
Seriously, move the feck out to Pakistan or Russia, see the difference.
