  1. A nice peek of what we will have to do when our Chinese overlords take their place as world leaders

  2. Oddly full circle moment when he was doing the minimum wage programme working in Abra in Waterford and chucking out drunks for being racist against the Chinese staff.

  3. GoWan the Des! He’s some boy! I always felt he deserved to be more successful, just a really nice fella compared to the other mupets on Irish telle at the time.

Sang rebel music on chiese TV, and moved into Southill for the craic! Haha! Fuk u Paddie!

  4. As unexpected as the time a saw a guy singing oro se do bheatha bhaile in a gas station in the middle of the brazilian countryside.

  5. Probably about 10 years ago he did this stint in China. Show came out in 2013/2014 direction. Fair play to him

  6. I rewatched that series just last month. Perhaps not *always* politically correct, but very realistic and entertaining. Des Bishop is definitely an interesting character.

  7. Songs of freedom and rebellion against oppression in a country known for oppression and suppression of freedom. Now if that ain’t ironic than idk what is

  8. Both countries are still waking up from the nightmare that was British Colonialism. The Chinese understand our desire for self determination and freedom from external Imperial rule.

  9. I’m not from Ireland but I listen to Irish rebel songs quite often, it’s beautiful like nothing else they make today

Greatest place on earth, Ireland. It tears my heart apart when I see people in the comment section whining about their life in Ireland and how bad the country is. How difficult and unbearable it is.

Seriously, move the feck out to Pakistan or Russia, see the difference.
