The Audi is in a Cambio Parking spot. Costumer support said calling the police is useless, they usually don’t come, that “people just get away with it”. Is that really general case? Why?

12. In Ghent, any car that’s subscribed to carsharing program can use the cambio spots.

18. Ironically this is a case where gas fines would be a plus. Police doesn’t have the time but the gas ambtenaar does

    And also democratic, following the Swedish laws wherethey have fines according to income.

    An Audi whiper fine will be in the higher segment.

21. Former parking guard, call mobility of the city of Ghent, parking guards can give them 80 euro fines and if Ghent knows that there are cars parking a lot there, it gets pointed to be a priority on route

22. Today is the day i learn what the “autodelen” was. Because there was a tow truck underneath, i always thought it was a parking spot for broken cars that need to be towed hahahaha. I’m so dumb really wtf

26. Try the police. Say that it blocks the designated parking space.

    If that doesn’t help … the usual way to protest is to fold up the audi’s windscreen wipers: this does not make any damage, but is a clear reminder to the car owner that you could have done something else to the car just as well …

28. Maybe the fact that you can’t use your parking splt isn’t the biggest priority…Personally I don’t understand why this business gets privileged parking places.

33. Politie kan hier niet voor tussen komen. Parkeren op autodeelplaatsen is namelijk gedepenaliseerd cfr. Ik weet het, HLN is niet de krant waar je meestal wil zijn, maar in deze klopt het. Het mobiliteitsbedrijf en de parkeerwachters zijn wel bevoegd (boete 80eur).

34. i’m assuming it’s just over the visserij in Gent. That always happens there. but I think they get a fine from the parking guards when they see this ( excluding sundays obviously).

35. Kniel neer naast de auto-band om uw veter opnieuw te knopen, dopje van het dunlop ventieltje los draaien, zeer klein steentje in leggen, dopje er terug op draaien tot je het hoort blazen, wandel weg.. revenge on a victimless crime with an even smaller crime..
