  1. Best country. 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 I would love to move there, and be Polish. It’s the best nationality ever. I’m only connected through my g-dad who is half. I love Poland and I want to eat all the food you have and be adopted into a family 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 I am the most Poland loving english person you will meet🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱 I love you all my very very distant relatives 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱

  2. I am Swedish and not Polish but I love Poland, I dream of moving there one day.

  3. Slovenian here sending love to my Pierogi loving mates. Polska Gurom 😎

  4. As a person who moved here years ago – I can say that I love Poland and polish people. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they love to complain, and it kinda triggers me to hear stuff like “living in Poland is such a pain” from a pole. Coming from a post-soviet country ruled by a dictator for decades really makes you appreciate simple things like human rights, political freedom, basic safety on streets, decent economy and pretty cities. But I understand, we all have our standarts and after all we wouldn’t have progress if we all were just happy with what we have.

  5. I’m Polish but I’m not “Happy” or “Love” this country. Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone felt the same about their own country. It feels like it’s an common thing to be not happy to life in “your” country.

But it’s also not like I hate this country. We have beautiful landscapes and countryside, rich history and “cool” past. Also I am surprised that sometimes food in other countries compared to ours tastes and looks bad imo. It’s not the “homemade meals taste better than food outside Poland” it’s more about quality of bread, meat (like for example sausages in jar which is abomination) and etc.

  6. Me too…………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  7. Fantastic. A new person has joined the cult.

    Wait, what?

  8. In my humble opinion, as a Pole who at a young age (child) left for another country (Spain) and then returned as an adult I can say a few things:

    1. I love this country, I love most of the people here because most people are good, friendly and open. It is a pity that we have such fucked up politicians and a toxic minority (which is really in every country) that is so loud. And when I say minority, I’m talking about bad people, the Nacionalists and the far left.

    2. This country is beautiful but neglected. If our governments did something about it, Poland would be at the forefront of tourist countries because we have everything we need. Green? We have and a lot. Forests? We have and a lot. Sea? We have and is a pity that we also have a very toxic approach to our sea, dirt, stench and “screens”. I will not mention neglected rivers.

    3. I have already written this in the first point but I will repeat myself. The biggest problem of Poland are the politicians. They are really the biggest nightmare of Poles. Because they are Poles like everyone else, but in most cases they act to the disadvantage of Poland and only in favor of themselves or their own party. But one cannot be surprised, in Poland since almast always the “nobility” has always acted in this way in our country

  9. Before moving here, besides the obvious fact that Poland is a fucking warrior country, surviving attacks from almost every side and still remaining as one of the biggest countries in Europe, I have to admit that my knowledge of Polish people was solely based very much on memes, “Meanwhile in Poland” videos and football hooligans (as I am a huge football fan). So coming here 4 and half years ago really left me wondering how was my life going to be here and every day it surprises me positively. From the food, to the landscapes, to the people, to the architecture, to the way they party, to the music (I am a big black metal fan, but I also love Andrzej Zaucha and Paktofonika to name a few). I am not a supporter of the political landscape here, but I love the peoples attitude towards it, which shows the true polish spirit that people don’t just stand and complain, they complain but actually take action as well. Also, there’s the food that is amazing, and from the beaches to the mountain, Poland is a very complete country in a whole for sure.

    POLSKA GUROM

and did I mention how amazing the food is? Because it is. I’m truly sad I went so many years not knowing about the food-gems that come from Poland.

  10. Let’s just take a moment to notice that the red color is in a darker shade

  11. Poland is great. I’ve spent a lot of time here this summer and many of the cities are great, food and beer is tasty and affordable.

But one thing I’ll complain is traffic. Maybe it’s just because there are more people in absolute terms, but I see so many people that ignore traffic laws.

Secondly, I like to go around without GPS navigation and the state of road signs and instructions is just crap compared to where I come from (Finland). Very hard to navigate.

Even something so simple as lane guidance is often set up the wrong way. You’ll see a sign overhead saying that this lane turns left and the other goes straight, but the reality could be anything really.

Also, it annoys the hell out of me that often the lane one’s driving on actually turns out to be the lane that splits off the road instead of going straight. Going straight should always occur on the lane that you already were in.

  12. Jarvis, we are low on karma, post that I love Poland in polish subreddit.

  13. Metro Man’s quote fits perfectly here: and I love you random citizen.

  14. Lol what I love is that everyone’s attitudes towards everything are literally the opposite on here versus on r/Polska. The disparity is crazy (especially when it comes to feelings about the country itself as a whole).

  15. Was expecting a self deprocating joke on a second slide or something to be honest. Polish people often have mixed opinions on their own country.
But yes, I love poland 🙂

  16. I hate Poland (I’m polish)

I’m honestly here for the memes
