Hopefully they also protect areas along the coast line for breeding etc.. lots of areas now have habitat removed for farming or houses/gardens

Probably just some nimby plan to stymy offshore wind
My understanding is that MPAs don’t at all do what most people would expect them to do – bottom trawling, for example, an extremely destructive type of fishing, is perfectly legal within them.
I suppose we might as well, it’s not like you can cut turf from it
