Travellers skipping queues by pretending to need wheelchairs, Heathrow boss says

  1. I guess the airports will have to start asking for some evidence of disability then. Which is a shame as some people might need help but not have suitable evidence.

  2. These will also be people who’ve never experienced being on the disabled track, sitting in a room waiting for a porter with a chair to be available, worrying that they won’t have someone in time, being last off. It’s shit. If my wife didn’t need the support we would happily deal with the queues

  3. It can’t possibly be because he’s incompetent and failed to staff his airport properly.

Problems with lack of passenger assistance at Heathrow are not new, they go back years – long before any TikTok craze.

    He’s a lying incompetent fool.

  4. Heathrow boss skipping employing correct level of staff by pretending it’s someome else’s fault, travellers say

  5. Anyone who tries that at LHR is going to do it exactly once – and find out the grim truth the hard way – so I find it hard to imagine there’s an epidemic of this just based on a single Tik Tok video taken in a different airport. A desperate deflection? That seems a lot more likely to me.
