Just an idea for a well deserved mention, and a nice change from the usual dreary news, and worthy for a person who certainly deserves a documentary or at least a podcast.

This guy deserves a mention, hugely influential, extremely kind and giving and the 1200 people that turned out to his funeral says a lot, especially in Los Angeles.

Take a look at his discography list, it’s just unbelievable. Jammed with hits, especially if you’re over 30 you’ll know some of these.

He’s 30 years dead 05/08/22. By all accounts, he was the greatest father ever and one of the kindest people in the business and regularly declined to invoice people for his time.

There’s not a human on earth who hasn’t heard his stuff.

  1. Hehe it’s funny how important he is while being not always known. And he died so young? I wonder he probably would have been involved in so much more music.

    Anyway I just want his glasses, if anyone knows if they are buried with him let me know and I will dig through the earth and retrieve them.

  2. Rosanna is a deceptively difficult pattern to play well.

    Most drummers when giving time can sit down and learn the shuffle but its a different story altogether taking that groove and putting it into the song and making it feel great.
