I’m not saying it shouldn’t be done but any politician suggesting this sort of thing should immediately be asked to specify what types of cases will therefore be negatively affected amd presumably delayed to male room. And before anyone suggest it, I’m guessing that there really isn’t enough ‘ prosecuted for saying something stupid on line’ cases to make a difference.
Whoenever you give a public service a new priority or a new task it deprioritises something else and politicians should be expected to say exactly what.
