Apologies, it’s another full Irish. But I got it in the middle of England! White pudding, potato cakes, Irish sausages and all.

  1. Not here for an argument, but there’s a little Irish cafe in Coventry doing amazing things, for anyone else who only gets back to Ireland once a year.

  2. Sausages look a bit ill. Everything else looks decent enough! No mushrooms or tomatoes let’s it down a bit, mind, but definitely wouldn’t be turning my nose up.

  3. Sausages could do with another 5 mins in the pan and there’s too much empty space in the plate. Apart from that it looks lovely, nice to get the 2 eggs and a posh little bean ramekin.

    Tea and toast included?

  4. do you realise that all you island folks call this ‘insert own nationality’ breakfast? whether Scottish, Irish, or the obviously inferior English breakfast (is there a Welsh breakfast?), the only difference is usually just the portions and maybe how dry the black pudding is..otherwise it’s the *exact same thing*. you just found breakfast. also, what makes them Irish sausages?

  5. That’s perfect. No disgusting mushrooms, no half-cooked tomato that nobody eats, and two of everything. Very good.
