Claim that the new bill around opening hours will be brought forward in the Autumn. Here’s hoping it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of the whole change of government thing in December…
Slightly worried that it sounds like McEntee is only talking about Dublin in regards to late night transport. Cork has just one late night route (albeit it runs 24/7), and there’s nothing to my knowledge in Galway, Limerick or Waterford. I’d like to see most routes that currently operate to 11/11:30 in cities to run on til 2 or so on weekend nights. As well as more 24/7 routes, or earlier/later running routes on other days where it can be justified (e.g. airports, hospitals)
Or they could just let non taxi vehicles use uber, problem solved.
What about outside of Dublin though? Maybe they haven’t noticed but there’s an entire country there.

Ummm what cities actually have nightclubs left? I know the last one closed in Galway earlier this year, Limerick is still holding on and Cork may have some but are generally shite.
