    There has only ever been one type of government in Wales: A Labour-led government. For 25 years.

    I suspect the particular case will be resolved with the property owner, but still the government needs to actually *do* something.

  2. I’ve heard that this is happening quite a lot in anticipation of the changes in Welsh letting law.

    Amongst other things there will be enhanced succession rights, are they doing this to stop the pensioner from passing the property to her son to rent?

    Also the Welsh government is putting in place new laws on second home ownership and places like Saundersfoot could well be targetted by anti-second home rules. So maybe they are planning on selling it?
