I remember my grandfather growing tomatoes in his greenhouse and being proud about it. It’s been so hot the past years they grow in my garden like crazy. They even pop up in my kiekeskot as weeds.
That’s amazing, albeit in a low key terrifying way.

The problem with growing melons isn’t that our summers aren’t hot enough, it’s that they aren’t long enough. You can grow the early varieties outdoors pretty well.
