Visiting Frank Deboosere’s website is like hopping into a time machine back to early 2000s GeoCities webpages

  1. I really love it, to be honest. Someone making something by themselves, actually putting a lot of knowledge and passion into it, and probably even reaching quite a large audience with it.

Who cares that it doesn’t use bootstrap and whichever frontend framework that happens to be in fashion, at least it’s not filled with SEO optimized word vomit.
It is the Internet how it used to be, and if the Internet still were a bit more like that, I feel like it would be a nicer place.

  2. You just got to love the guy. Great weatherman, passionate about his job and astronomy.

Just look at that website. Just a guy, writing about what he loves and bringing interesting information to his readers.

No adds. No cookies. Just a nice minimalistic webpage that is really informative.

  3. I do prefer those early 2000’s websites so much over the touch screen/mobile oriented websites we got today, with the overuse of active content, menus that slide open, etc..

  4. I’d call this site rather refreshing when compared to most sites nowadays. It’s so straight forward and no-nonsense, I love it ngl. Frank is a living legend in my book.
