Het duurt met het openbaar vervoer van m’n voordeur tot kot alles in meer dan 4u en met de auto nog geen 2u. Je gaat me echt niet wijsmaken dat we ”goed” openbaar vervoer hebben. Enige reden dat het zo hoog is is door Eurostar en Thalys

2 weeks ago I travelled to Germany by train, man. Deutsche Bahn has some awesome fast trains and very high tech interior. Also the regional public transport offer was more than good enough although ticket prices for trains in Germany is a bit more expensive compared to Belgium.
Dit kan toch niet kloppen. Als ge vanuit Calais vertrekt raakt ge net tot in Londen, maar niet verder. Maar als ge vanuit Brussel vertrekt, dan raakt ge toch in York?
I love the trains, but the expectation that you could feasibly get to Liverpool in that time is wildly optimistic at best. Sure, they’ll get you to London in a couple of hours on a good day, but good luck the rest of the way. It also fails to mention that for the privilege of standing all the way to Liverpool, the cost is similar to that of a small apartment.
