Reportedly, I’m about to find out that my billionaire of a lost grandgrandpa left me all of his fortune.
Maybe by digging their way there else I don’t see how it can happen
Breaking news: Russian military makes breakthrough in teleportation technology. Will magically move army to Serbia
Nahh, just an Albanian propaganda. I mean look at OP’s other posts, he is so obsessed with Serbia he practically doesn’t have time to live his life 😉
This is fake news btw, it never even appeared in Serbian news
I mean if we were so pro-Russian like some people think it should be all over the news in Serbia.
This appeared on some Russian site I remember I entered to check yesterday, I saw it has a big “Z” next to the logo and I left.
Basically Kremlin propaganda, like the west, Moscow is also trying to push us out of neutrality. A few days ago Belarus’s Lukashenko was also criticizing us for not being pro-Russian. While in fact we are just trying to stay aside and be as neutral as possible.
Also how is Russia going to build it’s base, are they gonna fly it with AirSerbia’s economy class?
Serbia is neutral by constitution so no military base is allowed on its territory
Before some smartass says that there is already a Russian base in Serbia, no there isn’t. There is a humanitarian center, that isn’t even working that much recently. It has 5 Russian and 20 Serbian firefighters. You can check it yourselves. Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center it is called.
They have their hands tied in Ukraine they will be happy to afford plastic pistols and toy bases after the war ends
Serbia has no interest to hold any base on its territory, it is never good, base’s soldiers get special rights and go around causing trouble in the country without any circumstances just look at US base in Okinawa Japan
Serbia is trying to stay neutral in this conflict but it’s not easy since it’s being pushed by both sides. Here are some of the things it did:
Pro-Ukraine:
– Sanctioned Belarus
-Sells weapons (mostly mines and ammo) to Ukraine
– Accepted some refuges from Ukraine (around 10k)
– Donated some funds (few millions) to humanitarian aid to Ukraine
– Supported UN declaration which condemned war and voted to kick Russia out of UN humanitarian council
– Recognizes Ukraine in its official borders
– Pro-Ukrainian protests
Pro-Russian:
– Didn’t put any sanctions on Russia
– Made gas deal to buy gas at much lower price than market value (will save approximately 2 billion dollars)
– Allow regular civil flights to Moscow and St Petersburg
– Pro-Russian protests
And also:
– Accepted around 40k Russians (most of them upper-middle class from IT sector which collapsed when Western companies closed R&D offices in Russia, those people either relocated to work for same Western employers as while they were in Rus or started working in other Western/Serbian IT companies)
This can be both good and bad thing, I mean Russians are leaving Russia especially talented ones, so I think its less people who are willing to fight for Russia, also they are opening their bank accounts in Serbia so basically less taxes for Russia. Mind you, most of them are against Putin and pro-Western
Didnt know russia had a teleporter.
I’m sure the Russians will protect them against the next evil Nato mission they cause themselves.
Wrong. It was Russian ambassador who is really talking about a NGO that has had problems operating, and then said something about there being no obstacles for even a military base.
No please
Stop spreading misinformation. Russian Ambassador answered question of some random Russian analyst about military base in Serbia (which itself is random) with simple fact that existence of base like that is exclusively question of Serbian sovereignty.
Only r/europe posters could believe in this.
fake news. Russia isn’t set to establish anything and the author of this “article” is completely misconstruing what was originally said by the ambassador, as well as taking things way out of context.
You can keep it in your pants, Russia. We don’t want it
Oh Cool… the USA will then 100% sell for cheap and donate a bunch of weapons to Croatia.
Haha yeah ok. Good luck getting your assets and personnel there.
Oh wait hold on, let me sit back and watch you try 🍿
Fake news about Serbia. No wonder someone from Kosovo* is spreading it
Complete fake news lol why spread completely false things? Take this down
ITSTIME 😡☝️
“On yor right, Capitan Srbija!” – Doctor Stefan Strangov proceeds to summon portals from Siberia to Serbia.
People here underestimate these rumours. Serbia is used as a platform for Russia to be close to Western Balkan countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina especially. Once they establish significant military base one day there they won’t have problem with invading B&H or helping Serbian separatists achieve their nationalistic dreams. They want to turn Bosnia off the course and make peace be extremely sensible for any pro-NATO step, just like they did for Ukraine. It’s over when it’s too late.
