I know, I know it sounds like plastic surgery gone wild but, the use of Botox injection into the spermatic cord is showing some efficacy for the treatment of chronic scrotal pain.

Our pilot study found that Botox cord blocks provide pain reduction for 3 months or more for most men with CSP.
I have an ongoing issue with ilioinguinal, hypogastric nerve entrapment issue and severe pain and impediment to “normal”.
Honestly, I’ve had over 3yrs of misery with this and I’m approaching breaking point.
I have exhausted options looking for an Ireland based surgeon who offers spermatic cord denervation.
My issue is exacerbated by involvement of a renal vein varicocele.
What started as a joke based on plastic surgery, led to a lot of reading and the 1st bit of hope I’ve had in 6 months and that’s after 3 years of trying to get on top of my issue.
So, my question is?
Does anyone know of a clinic/pain management specialist or indeed if need be, a plastic surgeon in Ireland offering scrotox specific to the spermatic cord?
