When a person is moving to denmark and wants to start a food truck/wagon business. What is required to do it legally and where can i find the rules?
She is thinking of a small wagon with one cooktop and a fridge, small setup with 3 different meals on the menu.
She will be working mostly alone (at least to begin with) so employee safety and security will not be an issue to begin with, she just needs it up and running to begin with to make a living.
She is thinking about stationing in Kolding. She is from iceland and is somewhat educated about the laws there, but she is having a hard time finding the regulations in Denmark.
Fødevarestyrelsen is step 1, they have the regulations, they will also get her started on her written control procedures.
Does she have the “hygiejnebevis”? She personally has to have that. I think it can be done online if she doesn’t.
Since it is a foodtruck: Does she want it one place or to move it around? She will need permits either way. She can ask the Fødevarestyrelsen about who to contact in that regard.
Also, because of the truck in the picture (yea yea, stock photo, but just in case), if the person in question is coming from Indonesia or elsewhere outside the EU, i doubt a food truck will give entry
