Liz Truss plans could cost £50bn a year, and will ‘fail to help poorest cope’ | Conservative leadership

  1. When will people realise they don’t give a shit?

There will quite literally be data analysts at Tory HQ whose jobs are to give them data on demographics and voting intention.

There is a very good reason why Bob who works at Morrisons for a tenner an hour is not getting shit off them. And thats because if he freezes in winter or dies of 50 from a heart attack trying to do 60 hour weeks he’d be another dirty Labour voter put into the body bag. One less for them to worry about.

This is unironically whats happening here. Remember the bodies [of disposable human proles] can pile up in their thousands? Its mask off stuff.

  2. I’m sorry but anyone looking around for more than 10 seconds can see the mess the Tories have made we don’t need to throw more misery onto the poor.

    Get them out.

  3. I’m sure the £50bn a year won’t affect the Tory donating companies and businessmen paying less taxes though.

Talk of tax cuts and spending is meaningless if you don’t say whose taxes are getting cut…

“I can’t afford to eat, but at least the Prime Minister’s boosting our freeports!”

  4. Wow the vast majority of that £50bn is cutting corporation tax and increased defence spending. Thanks Liz. Can you imagine spending £50bn and still having widespread civil unrest and discontent. At least that put the Tories in shit for the next election, silver lining.

The cutting of corporation tax is bananas, it’s so much lower than it was under Thatcher as it is (with the supposed increase). As Mike Lynch said, it’s a wonderfully progressive tax that rewards companies for investing back into their workforce and the wider economy, whilst penalising those who take excessive profits. Even that total donkey Rishi (rightly) states that the UK has been pursuing a low corporation tax agenda for a long time now, and it hasn’t worked. Companies are just taking more profits and not investing back into the economy.

    Doomed.

  5. Conservative and leadership shouldn’t be used in a sentence.

Her solution to cut income tax will do nothing as the poorest already pay minimal tax based on income , but this does help the wealthy.

  6. £300bn p/y already spent ~~diluting our currency~~ on “social protection.” If any part of our society/country needs a cash injection of £50bn a year, it’s he energy industry, particularly for speeding up/prioritising nuclear power station development. The cash benefits we pay out won’t pay to heat homes if energy is becomes too expensive to heat them.

  7. If you beat Theresa May over the head with a Ping-Pong paddle for several weeks you’d end up with a creature as stupid as Liz Truss.

If that isn’t a damning indictment on where we are at, I don’t know what is.

Remember the good old days when Gordon Brown called that lady a ‘bigoted woman’. Anyway, I have to go. I have a therapeutic touch appointment with an electrical substation.

  8. There has to be some point at which you’re no longer just a legitimate government that has lost its popularity, and have instead become an occupying force.
