
Hi Finlanders! A friend of mine just got back from a trip and brought me a can of sarki. I’m in hawaii and eat a ton of fish but i have no idea how to best eat these little guys. What should i do with them? thank you all!

Personally, I would try them simply with some boiled potatoes. Those are smoked (“savustettu”) fish, so I presume you can eat them straight from the can (though a plate is recommended as the oil is messy).
I would try this on bread, if you somehow have ryebread i would recommend that but any other type of bread would work too. Im a simple man so this would work on me, but you could add some dill or red onion or sour cream to it too.
