I remember when the unions ran the country in the 70’s. Rubbish piled high as bin men on strike. Playing cards by candlelight because the miners were on strike so not enough fuel for the power stations. No foreign investment into business because the UK had a reputation for a lazy workforce. British Leyland workers caught taking sleeping bags into work on nightshifts, and the union refusing to back women been paid the same as men.
