If you have family history of someone dying young suddenly like this (usually under 30 years old) you can be screened, though there are charities who campaign for all young people to be screened as standard.
I learned about this as I’ve lost my own son to SIDS (which could potentially be an inherited heart condition) and some friends of mine lost their daughter to SADS. We’ve all had further tests on our hearts to try and discover any inherited conditions.

It sounds like they carried on the flight with her dead in her seat which I am fairly horrified by
i would have thought they tried resuss and as much as possible… at that point it becomes not an emergency
