Backlog of longest-wait patients slashed in England

  1. I thought this was a good thing till it stated 6 million people are still waiting, this is just the backlog of people who’ve been waiting YEARS.

Without extra resources this means other folk who really shouldn’t have been waiting months are likely to wait months.

This is just what happens when you don’t invest in the services infrastructure.

  2. my dad who had a heart attack last month was on a ward with many other patients all waiting for a pace maker. He was down for surgery 4 TIMES!. Even once prepped and ready to and the Surgeon who saw him and over saw dad being prepped, f@@ked off home early (that friday in July that was like 36oC). The next day ALL of the ward were miraculously fit to go home. No pace makers for any of them, so off the wait list…. Oh and they lost his heart meds so he couldnt go home with any, and they ran out of his other meds while he was there for the week and gave him others that he reacted too.
    No Hope.

GP is useless and he has had episode after episode since then. He now refuses to go to hospital.
