  1. According to newly released analysis of Google Trends data from mydolcecasa.com, a research site about moving and living abroad, the interest in Portugal from Americans is at an all time high.

Europe has been on the radar of Americans for some time but usually the top searched for countries are Spain and France, however now Portugal is being hailed as a “rising new star”.

“The new “darling” of American expats, sunny Portugal surpassed other European countries that have been at the top of the charts for decades, in “moving to” searches”.

  2. Is the article thumbnail representative of what Americans do on your beaches? Do we run up and down them with a giant American flag?

  4. No estoy interesado en Portugal porque no hablo la lengua. Pero, mi esposa y yo estamos interesados en españa; ¿estamos bienvinedos si nos comportamos?

  5. Portugal is the 2nd cheapest/easiest country in the EU to get a residency permit. Greece is the cheapest/easiest.

  6. It is better for economy, welcome.

Also another great advantage of the Portugal – near 100% of the people (even elderly) speak very decent English.
