  1. The problem is our addiction to consumption.

    The french politicians are addicted to consumption, they will do anything to boost the sales of cars for example. Even though the french president said in a speech in 2002 that we had to stop the greenhouse effect. Most of the french politicians only knows how to handle this hammer of consumption.

    We need a cultural revolution. We need to understand that we don’t just have to cut weight with a diet for the summer: we have to change radically and for the rest of our lives.

    Riding a bike and becoming vegetarian is mandatory but it’s also just the beginning.

    The problem is the USA, India and China. How do we get them onboard with the changes? We can change the europeans. Presented with the consequences I believe that they have the common sense to make sacrifices. But the americans and the chinese? I don’t think so.
