I’m kind of in dubio between being happy that there wont be as much jongeren flaunting around my Zoute that way and actually flexing Knokke-style by running around bare chested myself there all day throwing money at every cop that fines me and making sure the ma-tu-vu crowd sees me doing it.
Maybe it’ll start a new hype and all the insecure boomers with pink sweaters will start doing it too because they think it is the new thing.
Take it to court and Knokke will get fucked themselves.

It’s not like I’ve ever been able to go shirtless anywhere and it’s never bothered me, so I’m sure they’ll survive. 350 euros is steep, but consider that if you keep your shirt on you won’t have to pay it and they probably gave it that number because they want to get some $$$ out of it.
Nowhere else have I seen people run around shirtless anyway.

But if a city takes some steps to improve it, suddenly it’s outrageous. Ok then.
If you’re annoyed by the fact that you can’t be half-naked when walking around, and for that reason you don’t want to visit KH, then the measure has the intended result – they don’t want you walking around half-naked. Go to Margistende or Blankenberge if you want to do that or are OK with people walking around like that.
