I remember it. I got speeding ticket as there was nobody on road.
I wish western Europe had more consistent snow.
That was the winter I was in military training. It was brutal!
You can’t see me but I’m on this picture!
Somebody else get their reminder from Google photos lol
There was at least 6″ or so on the deck, most snow in forever – as usual the country virtually ground to a halt, but that is the consequence of living where most times, the climate can be described as “mild and a touch on the damp side”
Farage’s dream of an all-white Britain
You can see my house from here
I went over to my gran’s house with a shovel and tools to see if she needed help. (The phone lines were down.) I ended up spending hours digging cars out of the snow and ended up making a lot of money that night.
during that we got stuck on the motorway coming back to family for christmas. a 90 minute journey took 6+ hours, not counting stopping halfway at a distant acquaintance’s house for an emergency roast dinner.
If you zoom in enough, you’ll see a bus that reads ‘We send the EU £350 million a week. Let’s fund our NHS instead. Vote Leave’.
I loved that winter. I used to live near a forest and it was absolutely covered in snow. Great times for the kids and I got to get my sled out after way too long.
