  1. Who nominated Hyde? I know the story, but are we to believe he committed the fraud himself?
    Was he properly vetted?
If not it moves from fraud to conspiracy.

Pull here to release another Mahon tribunal.

  2. FF ministers in shady property deals, and Leo wanting to slash the tax base with an impending recession looming…feels very 2007 all of a sudden.

  3. >Property price register records show the council claims it bought the property for below market value – something that it refuses to explain.

Isn’t it great how our elected representatives can just refuse to tell the public how they’re spending taxpayers money.

  4. Ontheditch doing great work again. Wish more journalists would do some actual work rather than Sabina bashing or some shite

  5. > Troy has never declared the sale of the property in his Dáil returns despite being legally required to do so under the second schedule, section of the Ethics in Public Office Act 1995.

That’s the problem with the register of interests, doesn’t seem to be any sanctions against lying on it.

  6. I’m not very political and most of the time I don’t pay too close attention to political stories.
But I seem to see these kinds of headlines involving Fianna Fail more than anyone else.

    Am I wrong?
