A small town of 20-40 year old blokes. Good job our infrastructure is shit hot and we have loads of spare houses. At least we can make use of the wide range of education and skills they are bringing over
France doesn’t care if these people die, just so long as they are out of the country.
There’s going to be a backlog of legal cases for right to family moving here in the next decade too, especially with the lack of identification that most carry now. All we can do is help the poor buggers the best we can, which would preferebly be stability where many come from, so they can return. The illegal markets, trafficers and exploitation are a big problems.
One of the big reasons it gets on peoples tits, is all of the coutries passed to come here. Especially neighbouring ones, and the finance which many English do not have, to cover their trip.
I recently met one of these new arrivals, threatening to stab me up in a park, after going to the aid of a school group he was threatening (I helped on the park with and was with an attendant), needless to say I was less than impressed especially the tirade about hating the country and that he wanted to kill a lot of us. Charming I thought to myself as he was carted off by the fuzz. This sort of thing scews my judgemet, or another time, or that time I was beaten up. I could go on.
There are people that need genuine help, and whilst we cannot help them all, we can try. But there needs to be some measure of cooperation through neighbouring countries first. A neighbours charter, that should conflict exist as it does in dark times that the first port of call should be your neighbours, supported and not the other side of the planet to an Island of sometimes miserable buggers where it rains all the bloody time and they put Mrs Browns Boys on the telly at Christmas.
As for the ones that just come for money from the otherside of the world. They can jog on without a foothold, life aint always about that.
