Hi guys. I’m going to attend an Erasmus+ project in Budapest. Firstly and daily, i wanted to visit Bucuresti.

I tried to buy the ticket from [https://jegy.mav.hu/](https://jegy.mav.hu/) website. Is it reliable, will i encounter any problem?

My plane from Turkey will get to Bucurest at 11.30

The train that i’m gonna buy is going to go Budapest at 19.30 for 27 Euro.

Is there anything that i have to take into consideration before buying the tickets?

And last question, do i have to make reservation while buying ticket? When i’m about to buy the ticket by that website, it always pops up and asks for reservation and it gets extra money. If i do not reserve any seat, does it mean that i do not have place to seat? or does it mean that i ll have a seat but i have nothing to say on which seat it will be?

  2. you can’t buy tickets for that route without seat reservation, at least that’s what the lady in Budapest said to me when i purchased the ticket.

    The train ride is about 16hours, prepare accordingly.

    Botanical garden is also decent for a visitation.
