Any clue what this is about in the phenoix park? The tall grass that the deer grazed in being harvested. Food for the deer in the winter maybe?

  1. They feed the animals in Dublin zoo with the hay in the wintertime, they can’t just leave all the grass unharvested as otherwise the whole park would quickly become overgrown and they want specific areas in grassland etc

  2. It promotes new growth and the seed gets knocked down during the process. It will be all new green grass in a few weeks
