Skirt steak is sometimes known as **Romanian tenderloin**, **Romanian steak**, **Philadelphia steak**, or **Arrachera**, but these names are most commonly used outside of the US.
This is what I found on google. However any good butcher would know the cut by its [position on the animal](https://www.craftbeering.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Beef-Cuts-Icon.png). It is the cows diaphragm if I understand well
I found ‘szoknyapecsenye’ and ‘koronahús’, I guess the butcher should know it by those names
It can also be “szegy eleje”.
But note that a cut is just a cut. If you ask for skirt steak cuts and he doesn’t know, telling him szegy eleje will be almost certainly a different cut, even though it will be the same part or generally the same part of the cow.
To be honest i would just showhim the picture,he will know it. Im so hungry for a philly cheesesteak sandwich now.

As i found, its made of the ‘Plate’ part, which is ‘szegy/hasaalja’.
Good luck to find it!
