A little while ago someone (not me) left out the butter on the counter near the open window. I entered the room and there was a foreign orange cat licking it.
I looked at him and he at me, and we were both frozen, he was probably going through cat flight or fight response, or maybe just “oh no I’ve been caught, food thief”
But I was just frozen too thinking “cat eating butter on the counter top”.
This continued for 15 seconds.
Since then I put the butter in the fridge.
Dont keep your ready to eat foods and raw meat together on the same shelf. Ready to eat on the top raw meat very bottom.
Bottom shelf is only for raw meat, only lunatics would keep butter beside chicken
Why is the butter on the bottom shelf ? Is this a Protestant thing ?
In its bowl, in the press. Very spreadable at the minute.
Keep me ghee in the fridge. Too pungent outside.

I leave it out in this heat, I like to just pour it on to the bread.
