I think in reality not one notices the use of They/Them instead of he/she/her/him, I certainly don’t.
Well, it was the English that lit her on fire literally, because she scared the living shit out of them. Only now do they try to distort with this bullshit.
It’s a bait to get free publicity and all the twittards swallow this sh*t.
Obviously women can’t be strong and good leaders. Therefore a woman who exhibits those traits must have actually not been a real woman. Man, wokes really prove the horseshoe theory lol.
I mean, why is this even knews? Her cross-dressing is literally what was used to justify her killing. Many artists have depicted her in a very manly way for hundreds of years.
We simply dont know what she was because its a long time ago and we have few good sources, and even those with the usual preconcieved notions of the time.
Let art do what art does: interpret things how they want. Just stop beeing such a snowflake about every fucking thing.

The whole point of her story is that she was a girl. Why remove her identity?
Wait until these angry people find out about the movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. They’re going to be furious.
Historical films/plays/books shouldn’t be subject to any changes in the name of diversity.
Besides entertainment value they hold information about the historical settings and changing it is disrespectful to both the oppressed minorities of that time and the cultural heritage of native Europeans.
I’m afraid that in few decades besides flat-earthers we will have plenty of conspiracy theorists arguing that X historical figure was of X (gender, race, sexuality)
