
I ordered an iPad Air 5 and Apple Pencil 2 on Amazon that costed in total over 1000€. However, when the package was delivered by UPS (I had to give them the code before receiving the package), I opened the package. There were 2 boxes inside and each box contained 2 tea bags. WTF?!? I mean the label was correct, my name, my address.
I messaged the customer service right away, they said they had created a return label. UPS would pick up the next day. Long story short, it took them in total about a month to pick up the package.
In between, they also asked me to send more information and photos to the delivery investigation team. I did multiple times and the replies vary from “we cannot do anything until we receive the return package” to “Will get back to you in 3 days” – guess what, no one got back to me ever.
After the return package was delivered back to Amazon. I asked again about the update. I only got automatic replies again asking for more information and send them to the delivery investigation team. It’s all in circle here.
So all in all, it has been over a month and a half since I received the tea bags and no refund, no update, nothing.
TL;DR
I ordered an iPad Air 5 and Apple Pencil on Amazon that costed in total over 1000€. Instead, I received 4 tea bags, it has been over 1.5 month and still no refund, no update. Amazon has not been helpful, only templated replies.

Call Amazon support directly. You can fish the number from the website, somewhere hidden, they don’t want you to find it easily. I’ll update the message if I find it.
Hopefully you took some photos. Upload and tag Amazon on twitter and Instagram. I know it’s unusual for Germans but that’s the only way to get eye balls on the issue.
What kind of tea was it?
