Fair play, people don’t realise the amount of work it takes to fill up 4 minutes with scenes with a bit of thought in them.
Bit of constructive critisism?
The Film Gate effect is really _really_ offputting. It doesn’t really feel like a super 8 visual feature and doesn’t feel very natural. I’d either lose it altogether or keep it very sparse in all the flashback stuff
I like the idea of him revisiting the places and cutting to him there after seeing the couple there works very well and the color grade works well on these. If you removed all the film grain effect and the blown out grade on the ‘present’ scenes and graded them to a much more natural tones, I think this juxtaposition between the present and the past would work a lot better. It feels like it needs that visual separation between the two timelines
good job though, narrative is clear and it is interesting throughout
