Swedes don’t use cash, we pay by card, phone or Swish.
Not sure why there’s a machine accepting danish cash though, is it for buying tickets for the train to Denmark?
I assume you’re riding an Öresundståg and there might be a few reasons for it. One is of course technical, maybe they just don’t want to bother handling Swedish coins to the mechanism, especially considering Swedes generellt pay by card anyway.
Another might be regional regulations. Sole regions in Sweden don’t allow you to buy tickets on the train, instead require you to do so beforehand from machines on the platform or online. In those cases these machines might simply just be designed to operate in Denmark and not in Sweden.

Only criminals use cash in Sweden.
*Edit: I’m being satirical.
That looks like a Danish machine, not the Swedish ones. Since your picture is trash maybe you can upload a better one on the machine itself?
Nobody like Swedish People..
