Halfords online reserve price vs in store price (both for the same store). Nice mark up!

  1. Halfords entire business model is to price people extra because they can’t wait for online shipping/hold or don’t know better. Everything in there is overpriced shite you can get on Amazon for half the price and it’s the same shitty quality, particularly their car tools.

  2. Halfords are good for changing headlight bulbs for awkward cars. Maybe a new window wiper if you don’t want to wait for your service.

  3. Ive had this happen in a few places. Typically if you point out the online price they will sell for that.

In saying all that, Amazon are selling the lock on the left for £40

  4. I’ve noticed that when ordering a few things myself, pretty scummy considering you can go to score and collect online reservation for same as online price.

  5. Its a good lock. Unfortunately scrotes just destroyed the handlebars instead. Twas my late uncle’s bike too. Don’t leave your bike at the red cow luas between 9-6 would be my advice!

  6. Funny I ordered something from DID to pickup and it was €14.99 online. Picked it up and saw a price tag of €12.99 on the item. Bet that was the selling price in store.
