Probably Macron’s worst case scenario now, Zemmour and Le Pen drawing from each other and a more moderate Republican with an easier path to the runoff. Every outlet has noted France has moved a little to the right in recent years and that Pecresse in particular is one he was worried about benefiting from that.
Could be the first female president and one of the only female leaders of modern France after Cresson.
Gonna be an interesting runoff between Macron, Le Pen, Zemmour and Pecresse.
