Hi Greeks! Can you translate this. Found it on a village monastery in my country and have no idea what it means.

   Mathew Christoforou from Aimon, and the date.
   Is it in Crete?

2. It says “Ματθαίος Χριστοφόρου εξ Αίμονος 1847”. Matthew Christoforou of Haemon 1847.

3. Interestingly, the N in Aimonos is backwards.
