Green glow to the left is a phenomenon called “Airglow ” similar to the the Aurora Borealis but not restricted to northern latitudes.

Wanted to use this as the wallpaper on the phone, but the hey Google search bar hides the sun set completely.

How come in the night I just see a completely pitch black sky with some white dots scattered everywhere, unlike this picture that has so many colours with those weird looking clouds (I think this is a milky way passage?)
