It should be going out to the airport. Its an embarrassment that we’ve no rail link to the airport.
God it’s such a shame it’s literally only the coastal and inner city spots that were built. Imagine if we had a rail that went out to Blanch, Ballymun, Tallaght and the airport.

We did have the ambition to plan stuff but never the money to pay for it. Should have borrowed for it, infrastructure is the exact thing you should borrow apparently.
It’s brain-dead that anything other than connecting Heuston to the airport. But brain dead is a compliment to any Irish politician or ranking public servant.
It’d beautiful and heartbreaking in the way that only things that could have been but never were could be.
