As a non german that currently working and studying in Germany, i would like someone to please explain it to me. The more details the better ✌️. (Preferably in English)

The video talks about a company pension plan. Gehaltsumwandlung means you pay into the pension plan from your own salary. But the amount you choose to pay is tax free and at least partially pre social benefits payment. The nice thing is that part of the money you pay into it would have gone to taxes or social benefits anyways. Meaning if you decide to contribute 100€ per month you’ll only recieve ~50€ less in salary.
