this isn’t too unlike the Tate Modern, a fucking simpleton, and his brief played the ‘not of sound mind card” if that’s the case, there is a big psychiatric hospital about 40 miles where this happened, he should be in there indefinitely….an absolute wank stain.
Unprecedented stranger attacks.
He looks like he has an IQ of about 4 so maybe its a legit defence.
“Sean Templeton, defending, had asked for Foster to be acquitted of all charges, adding: ‘It was a young man with learning difficulties who got it wrong.’”
This just sounds like he made some simple mistake not straight up murdered someone. I don’t know how someone could stand up and actually say this especially when he’s attacked people previously anyway
Why can’t the judge apply the same to him and see if he lives?
Matt Lucas has gone too far this time.
And I get to tend the wabbits
What is that thing?
Looking at the circumstances this does seem to come across as a person who has something wrong with them.
If a seven or eight year old kid did something they thought was a funny joke but it got somebody seriously hurt, you wouldn’t be arguing to put that kid in prison would you. I don’t know how you’d handle it but clearly a prison sentence isn’t the right course of action.
If an adult with a developmental age of seven or eight did the same thing then I’d assume the same mitigating circumstances apply.
This bloke sounds like he needs to be in some sort of secure care facility as opposed to a prison.
