  1. This man is arrogant and views even his clients as nuisances. He owns the Downtown Hotel in Rabat Gozo. It seems that he replies to any negative review, clients leave on tripadvisor.

Before we knew that the hotel was his, we stayed a few times and once left a negative review. His replies on the tripadvisor website are hilarious and shows you what kind of person he is.

  2. I’m not sure step 4 even happened. The deciding bodies are small fry and have no qualms about being used, which is a pity as they are good people, or at least they were before they were placed there.

What really irks me is the mediocre fine imposed. €900 is a pittance for almost everyone let alone San Ibni! And considering that these pool will service 165 residences. Had I been there I would have fined him €165,000 although €1K per unit would still be cheap for him. Before we wake up and start to insist that the laws start to make sense, we’re going to remain a 3rd worls country with these barons and ħbieb tal-ħbieb really running the country. Oh and this pool is not counter to policy, the fact that he carried out the works illegally and with impunity is what gets my goat with the Gozo (and Malta) enforcement officers looking elsewhere.
