My backpack exceeds the given measurements from Ryanair on a small personal item that must be able to fit under your seat. Are they very strict on this?
Not recently I’ve noticed. Pre COVID they used to be a lot more strict I think
If it’s a soft bag and not packed to the brim then it will fit. I take a backpack and its bigger than that.
If it goes over your shoulder like those they won’t even look at it, if it’s on wheels there is more chance they will check the size
I think they stopped checking that ever since they moved the second hand luggage to priority (it used to be free before 2018 or so). My small personal item is always bigger than those measurements and I’ve never had any problems on any airport.
That a very big cash box, WTF are you up to.
Could you put it beside an ordex cash box box for scale please?
I fly with them often and in my experience they’ll check one of those GAA holdalls once every two or three flights, but never check backpacks.
Not at all, we literally flew back last night with a backpack each of the same size. Our cabin bags were about 2cm bigger than they were meant to and nothing was said.
They’re far stricter with hard cases as it’s more obvious when they’re too big.
It’s grand. Shove the handbag into it if they say anything.
haha ive taken backpacks much bigger than that. as long as you can squash it in it’s grand
