  1. It’s pushed wages in the hardest hit sectors upwards because they’re having to actually compete for access to labour now. The jobs, working condition and wages are still shit of course, but the pay is at least closer to where it should be.

  2. Meantime total NHS colapse, because the system was propped up on low waged nurses from European countries. Just wait until winter comes, it’s gonna be interesting to see if the boomers keep it up.
