It is good but there are so many amazing hikes in Norway I would struggle to say it’s the best. As for crowds – start at 5am and it’s at least quiet on the way up ☺️.
I think hiking down the other end of the valley past Odda is nicer personally – only thing you miss is the walk out on a tongue
